Our last ride together before flying out to USA
Hello Everybody!
Well what a day yesterday was. Me and Blossom went out for our final cycle together before flying out on Sunday. This was a final check after having Blossom serviced and other than a little tinkering with her, everything seems to be A OK.
I stopped at various places in the village to say "au revoir", which will obviously be banned in the UK post the big B, so I thought I had better get it in while I can. A good friend of mine and cycle buddy, Simon, took some photos which are below.
These show Blossom in full kit, 4 panniers full of stuff, tent on the back and various other things attached on a whimsy - that is a technical cycling term for a hook.
I am also modelling, and I use that word in its most liberal sense, the top I designed for the trip. I will add 2 photos below so you can see the back side. I thought about taking a "back shot" (as we professional photographers call them) in the mirror but then realised that the words would be also backwards. Although I could have turned the camera upside down and then it would read correctly. Oh dear.
FRONT BACK
For some reason the back is quite a bit larger than the front and I should have noticed this much earlier. What a Wallyburger.
